A meeting between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Republic of Türkiye took place in Ankara

On October 30, 2026, as part of a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Welcoming the distinguished guest from Turkmenistan, the leader of the friendly nation expressed sincere gratitude for the acceptance of the invitation and took the opportunity to convey warm greetings and best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag.

Noting the high level of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, the head of Turkmenistan expressed thanks for the invitation to participate in the forum, the hospitality extended to his country’s delegation, and the opportunity for the meeting. He also conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on behalf of Hero-Arkadag.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed special appreciation to the leader of the fraternal nation for his personal contribution to strengthening the bonds of friendship and strategic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye.

It was noted that the high-level meetings and negotiations held regularly between the heads of the two states provide a powerful impetus for the development of a partnership encompassing political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Furthermore, the head of state took the opportunity to invite President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to pay an official visit to Turkmenistan at a time convenient for him.

Expressing his gratitude for the invitation, the leader of the fraternal nation noted that Türkiye attaches great importance to the consistent development of productive cooperation with Turkmenistan.
