Telephone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates

On 13 November 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a telephone conversation.

Noting the high dynamics of the development of bilateral relations, the ministers discussed key issues of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

During the conversation, the importance of interaction within international organizations, including the UN, OIC and other structures, as well as the significance of mutual support for initiatives promoted by both sides on multilateral platforms, was emphasized.

Issues related to the preparation for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December of the current year in Ashgabat, were also discussed.
