The foreign ministers of Turkmenistan and Kuwait discussed bilateral cooperation by telephone

On October 23, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Abdullah Ali Al Yahya.

During the talks, the sides emphasized the high level of brotherly relations between Turkmenistan and Kuwait.

As is known, in September of this year, a meeting was held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Sabah on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministers noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the United Nations and other international structures.

The sides also exchanged views on preparations for a significant event, the International Forum of Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held in December 2025 in Ashgabat.
