New Saudi Arabian Ambassador presented copies of credentials to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On April 17, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri, who presented copies of his credentials.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan congratulated the plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country on his appointment to a responsible post and expressed the readiness of the Turkmen side to provide assistance and support in the implementation of his diplomatic mission.

The interlocutors emphasized the high level of established friendly interstate relations in a wide range of areas.

During the meeting, the effectiveness of contacts between the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations was also especially noted.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia assured that he would make every effort to develop bilateral cooperation.
